Portsmouth CHAT, Family Information Service was established in 1999, and is a free, confidential and impartial service, committed to serving the needs of the local community.

• We provide local parents information and guidance on childcare and family services in Portsmouth.
• We can refer enquiries regarding childcare careers and training opportunities, as well as signpost to other useful services in the area.

Portsmouth Parent Direct team members have undertaken NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Information, Advice and Guidance qualification and the service is working towards achieving a Quality Assurance award for delivery of services.
